What is the last date I can book my room at the Resort?

February 1, 2025! This hotel is known to sell out rooms quickly. After February 1st, we cannot guarantee a room. Book your stay ASAP. Flights can be booked at a later time.

How do I book my room and travel?

Rooms: Please use the link provided to book your resort rooms. We have negotiated room rates for our events.
Flight: You are responsible for booking your own flights. You must provide the flight details to Shaadi Destinations once you have booked.
Transportation to and from Resort: It's important that you provide Shaadi Destinations with your flight information so they can arrange your transportation.

I see the room selections on the Hard Rock Website differ from what rooms are listed under Shaadi Destinations Website. I want one of the rooms not listed by Shaadi. What should I do?

We tried to select a wide range of rooms for our room block. If you see a room on the Hard Rock Website that is not an option under Shaadi Destination, just ask! Contact Shaadi Destinations through their "contact us" button on their website, and they will work directly with the Hotel to see if that room type is available.

What if I do not want to use the travel planner to book my room?

Reservations must be made through our discounted group block in order to attend wedding events. Additional charges will be applied to receive the wedding wristband required to attend wedding events if not booking through our group block with Shaadi Destinations (i.e. - using Expedia or even on Hard Rock's website is not permitted).

What if I want to come earlier or stay longer than the wedding event dates?

We have negotiated room rates from June 10-17th. If you would like to extend your dates outside of the room block, please reach out to Shaadi Destinations, and they will see what they can do for you!

I booked and paid for my room, what's next?

Book your flights whenever you can find the best price/deal! Once you book your flight, please provide that flight information to Shaadi Destinations to coordinate your travel to and from the hotel.

Do I need to pay for the ride to and from the airport?

Nope, Satbir and Simran have covered this cost for you! Shaadi Destinations just needs your travel information. No need to pay anything extra!

Will I need to convert dollars to pesos?

You have already paid for the resort so you just need a credit card on file to cover any incidentals or a credit card for any services you choose while you are staying at the resort. You can charge any of the services (i.e. spa, parasailing, etc) you choose to your hotel room and pay upon checkout. We would suggest bringing some cash for tips (bartenders, servers, cleaners, etc.). Review this helpful tipping chart!

Arriving in Cabo

What if I want to use cash at the airport?

The airport accepts US dollars and Mexican pesos. Best of all, they accept credit cards which is the best option!

Where do I find my ride once I arrive at the airport?

First, there will be a lot of salespeople waiting to stop you on the way out of the airport. Walk directly out of the terminal without stopping to talk to them, they are selling timeshares. Once outside of the airport, you will see a large Sunshade with many people standing under it. The Sunshade will have numbering above it, you want to find number 9, this is where the TransCabo staff will be found. Please check in with them and they will arrange a shuttle for transportation. The TransCabo staff will be wearing orange polos.

How long does it take to get from the airport to the resort?

The travel time from the airport to the resort typically takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

I arrived early, and check-in for the hotel doesn't start until 3pm. What do I do in the meantime?

You can store your luggage with the hotel and enjoy the resort amenities while you wait for your room to be ready. Swim, eat, explore!

Do I have to carry around my luggage until I get my room?

No, you can leave your luggage with the hotel staff, and they will take care of it until your room is ready.

Once I check in and get my room, what do we do?

Feel free to relax, explore the resort, and enjoy the amenities. Refer to the program of events for scheduled activities.

What to Expect During the Wedding Week

How will you update me on any changes during the week?

We will provide updates via WhatsApp and on the wedding website. We will create WhatsApp groups closer to the wedding.

What should I wear to the events?

Please refer to the events tab for event-specific attire. While we are on a vacation in Mexico, this is still a Sikh/Indian wedding! For events with 'Indian or Western' attire, this means you can choose! Indian suits or western dresses/pants are welcome. All events except the reception will be outdoors (unless weather dictates otherwise) in areas with a cool sea breeze.

How do I know where to go for the events?

We won't leave you hanging! We will provide you with a full program of events and locations upon arrival. Please refer to the WhatsApp group daily for updates/reminders during the wedding week.

What should I do during the times when no events are scheduled?

Feel free to change into your comfy outfits, and enjoy the resort's amenities, explore the local area, or relax.

Checking Out

Do I need to book transportation back to the airport?

No, transportation back to the airport is already arranged for you but when checking in, please confirm your flight information and travel time with the front desk.

Can I checkout over the phone?

Unfortunately, you will need to check out in person.

Can I check out of the hotel and still eat/hang around?

Totally! Keep the party rollin'! You can eat/hang at the hotel while you wait for your transportation to the airport.

General Information About Hard Rock Los Cabos

Does the resort have Wifi?

Yes! It is available all throughout the resort at no additional cost.

What kind of food is available?

All kinds! There are multiple restaurants on site, along with 24/7 room service. Check out their restaurants here.

Is room service included?

Yes! Everything is prepaid and included. Drink, eat, and do what you wish!

Is there onsite childcare available?

No, but there is a kids zone! Please click here for more information!

I don't want to drink the local water.

There are water bottles in all rooms, water bottles available across the resort. All water served in the restaurants is also filtered/bottled.

Misc

Should I bring a gift for Satbir and Simran?

You are the gift. Your presence at this event is seriously more than we could ask for. Plus, we won't have any way of getting any sort of boxed gifts home!

I really want to try a restaurant. How can I make reservations?

Will there be vegetarian options?

Absolutely! Please let Satbir/Simran know if you have any specific dietary needs.

I don't speak Spanish. How do I navigate in Mexico?

Todo esta bien (It's all good!). The staff at the resort all speak English and most of the staff at the airport does, too.

Will my cell phone work in Mexico?

Great question! If you have an international plan, yes it should. Call your carrier to confirm. We will primarily communicate with the guests via WhatsApp.

What's the weather like in June?

The weather in June is typically warm and sunny with occasional breezes. Expect daytime temperatures in the high 80s to low 90s Fahrenheit.
